spore needs depth. it is fun though and what it lacks in depth comes up in scale. but a bit more realism, e.g. in the space stage its like you should have more ships, and the creature stage should have more predators that actually hunt you and are a threaght it feels like your the top of the food chain

ea really screwed up lately. they go an make the licensing files which give relentless problems, they made it to where you need the official EA Download manager to run this, and for WHAT! they feel it stops piracy. well, HELLO, it simply punishes the people who buy the game!

its a great game, there was alot of bugs but after the second patch it seams to all be working right.... but i wish they made it easier to attach plantets in the early space stage... And i always wonder how i only have like 1 ship but they have 7 or 8, its kind of unbalanced untill you get more advanced

If you dont want the grox to attack you and you want to make it to the centre of the universe to unlock the secret ending it isn't impossible to alli with the grox

my only complaint is my version of spore crashes during random intervals of time on the space stage. other than that its really fun. I just need to find a way to stop spore from crashing.

needs more indepth features, jumping to planet to planet aint my idea of fun or spore bucks, i work for a living on that game. but needs and hopefully there are add-ons and just better construction sets. though its a good game and i was stoked playing it, spit and shining some more isnt a bad thing

Told you guys it is not worth $50. However, in the Galactic Edition, the National Geographic review on "How to make a better being" is worth watching. It is solid knowledge at least. The developers did a great job on making this game simply because the OOP design, the algorithm to paint and to customize creature yet still maintain some generic concepts. However, it is the publisher's fault, EA, which treated everyone as if criminals with DRM. It certainly will not stop piracy and believe me, the sales of Spore isn't going well; at least not as well as they planed to be.

Yeah, it is shallow, but it is a solid framework. Lets just hope the Xpacks ramp up the depth and the complexity. Everything here is gold, there just isn't a lot here.

As hundreds have said - its needs more depth. sure its a very creative game, and if you enjoy making new creations then you'll have a great time.

However if your not a fan of going to a planet and scanning some alien, capturing alien, destroying pirates, hunting relics/artifacts then repeat a thousand times this game is not for you.

I'm kinda hoping more updates/patches are released with further more indepth missions in the near future.

To repeat, just like the game, awesome idea yet somewhat flawed.

who cares if its shallow? its practicaly 5 games in one, which really does give u more than ur moneys worth. spore is one of the best games this year in my opinion
